Tournament Regulations

The tournament is sponsored by the Women's Kentucky State Golf Association conducted under the USGA rules with such exceptions as the Tournament Committee may announce by bulletins.

Pace of Play will be strictly enforced. For a ruling on any question, consult the USGA rule book or members of the Rules Committee (Jim Jones and Tim Dudley).

Range Finders are allowed. In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measure distance only. If, during any round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to guage or measure other conditions that might affect her play, the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.

In case of a tie, there will be a playoff for overall gross winner. Players must be present at the time of playoff or forfeit. Ties for net and gross winners in each group will be played off on the card starting with Hole # 1.

Prizes will be awarded in five age groups determined by age as of September 14, 2010 (date of birth must be included on entry form). Based upon size of flights, low gross and low net prizes will be awarded. There will also be special prizes in each age group on both tournament days. The overall gross winner will be declared the Senior Women's Kentucky State Champion.

A team trophy will be awarded on Tuesday using the three lowest scores from a single club.
