The Women's Kentucky State Golf Association will host the fourth annual Better Ball Tournament on Sunday, June 24 during the practice round for the State Amateur Championship. The purpose of the Better Ball Tournament is to raise money for the Kentucky Golf Foundation - specifically for the new Kentucky Golf House. The Golf House is the home for the KGA-PGA administrative offices and the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame.
Cost: $10 per person / $20 per team to be paid with entry fee.
GAME & RULES : Low Gross and Low Net Prizes will be awarded using 1/4 of combined handicap for low net calculation.
- Open to all participants in the State Amateur Championship.
- Open to non-participants who have an up-to-date handicap index (please send a copy).
- If you do not have a partner and you want to play in this tournament, let Judy Lyle know when you send in your entry and she may be able to pair you with another person.
- The teeing ground will be from the white WKSGA tee markers - EXCEPT – non-WKSGA tournament participants play from the teeing ground where they would normally establish their handicap.

- Record gross score for each player on each hole on the Better Ball Scorecard provided.
- Scorecard must be signed by both players and dated. Turn in cards to the pro shop after the conclusion of your round

W.K.S.G.A. Banquet & Business Meeting
This year, we will again hold our Annual Business Meeting in conjunction with the Banquet and Awards Ceremony. The Board strongly feels that all players should be present at this event. It is a time to find out how the Association works and a time to thank our host and honor the players. We recognize that some players and their families will be commuting - however, the player should make arrangements to be present at the meeting!
Contestants with caddies - Please specify that you will have a caddie on the entry form. Make sure that you introduce your caddie to the players in your group. If you have any questions regarding use of a caddie or etiquette - please see a Board member or a rules official.
Carts will be available for caddies this year. In order to reserve a cart for the first 3 days of play - the caddie cart fee must be prepaid. Send this money in as part of the entry. (See entry form)
